. At Christmas time I always end needing more electrical plugs than I have inside or outside. For me this is an easy problem to solve but for most people it usually involves extension cords and/or surge protector strips that are messy and cords can be a trip hazard. Instead of all that hassle why not just have someone come to your home and add a receptacle in a convenient location and never have to worry about needing electric at that location again.
Have an old home that does not have grounded receptacles. Most modern appliances have a grounded 3 prong cord and need to be properly grounded. Simply replacing the 2 prong ungrounded receptacle with a 3 prong grounded receptacle will allow you to plug your device in but will leave that device ungrounded. This is not the proper way to correct this situation because high end appliances that have grounded plugs need this grounding just to be protected from something as simple as static electricity, plus most warranties will not cover a device if said device is plugged into an ungrounded receptacle.
If you have a problem and don't know what to do call us and I will try to formulate a resolution.
